    Responsibilities

    Fidelis is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer in our beautiful Lehi UT location.  This position will be responsible for the following:

    • Conduct or participate in the research, design and development of systems software, software applications and/or tools for new programs and subprograms.
    • As a highly technical member of the team, actively seek to master our tech stack, tools, and practices. Complete complex modifications, refactoring, and bug fixes to existing functionality.
    • Responsible for coding, testing, integrating and documenting software solutions.
    • Exercise creative thinking and ideation to advance our business performance.
    • Deliver innovative, flexible, integrated solutions to meet customers changing business needs.
    • Contribute to the software design, implementation, and verification of Fidelis security products.
    • Conduct or participate in the research, design and development of systems software, software applications and/or tools for new products.
    • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving abilities

    Qualifications

    •  Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or 5 years of experience as Software Developer or related occupation.
    • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following: C#, Go or Java
    • Experience with development of products containing network protocols (such as SMTP, FTP, and HTTP);
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to convey proposed solutions through natural language, diagrams, and design patterns.
    • Experience with relational and NoSQL data stores, such as Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL, and Elasticsearch.
    • Experience with AWS, and Docker a plus
    • Development experience with C, C++ in a Linux or UNIX development environment a plus
