    Are you a self-starter, interested in supporting the sales and marketing teams at one of the region’s leading cybersecurity companies? At Fidelis Cybersecurity we’re creating a world where attackers have no place left to hide. To do that we are looking for a talented Office Administrator to support our CEO, CFO and other visiting executives in our Bethesda, MD headquarters.

    Responsibilities

    The office administrator supports the overall effectiveness and efficiency of Fidelis by coordinating the President's and other Executive's schedules, communications and workload, supporting meetings by serving as a liaison to staff. The office administrator acts as the filter, ensuring the smooth day-to-day prioritization and scheduling of the President and other Executives time, and undertaking a wide variety of administrative and communications tasks. The position is a liaison to Executives to assure that they receive consistent and complete information and communications.

     

    This position requires superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines, and prioritize multiple critical requests. We are seeking a candidate who has demonstrated effectiveness working in a collaborative team environment.  A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information is essential. Critical personal attributes are proactivity, flexibility, confidence, diplomacy and a good sense of humor.

     

    The successful candidate will also possess outstanding communication and relationship management skills to professionally serve as liaison to a wide array of senior executives inside and outside Fidelis as meetings are scheduled or necessary communications are made on behalf of the President or others. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to the entire organization and its mission, along with an understanding of how important effective use of the executives time is to its success.

    Qualifications

    A highly qualified candidate must be:

     

    • Familiar with Windows operating environment; advanced user of MS Office Suite to include Outlook, especially Outlook calendaring functions as well Concur booking system.
    • Excellent business communication skills in telephone, written, email and face-to-settings. 
    • Service-oriented with a positive attitude. Courteous, personable and flexible; able to deal effectively and professionally with a wide range of people.
    • Detail oriented and highly organized with prior experience maintaining schedules, filing systems and calendars for executives and/or senior leaders with a heavy volume of scheduling requests.
    • Exemplary organizational and project management skills with demonstrated ability to respond quickly to changing priorities.
    • Ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and use discretion when handling confidential/sensitive information.
    • Ability and willingness to work occasional early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends as needed.

    Education/Experience

    • Associates degree or equivalent in education and experience, Bachelors degree preferred
    • 3+ years administrative experience, preferably in a senior executive-level support role
